2002 Monte carlo SS removing dash
#2
remove the panel under the steering wheel first, then gently pry it off but be careful of the clips. it'll take some force, but don't get too aggressive or you might break something.
oh, it helps if you lower the steering wheel and put the car in 1st gear (use ebrake) so you can get it out.

ok so maybe its just me and my luck but... I Needed my cluster fixed in my dash so i took it to CarMax where i got it from and they messed it up more. my friend works there and he said once you take it off its hard to get back on the way it was. I would say take it somewhere so if they try and give it back to you messed up like they did me you could b**ch till they fix it right
