2001 Dale Jr. Edition??

I was looking at some used Monte's for sale in my area. I found a 2001 Dale Jr. Edition with only 2,300 miles. That is the first 2001 Dale Jr. I have seen. Is it authentic or is it a custom job?

Only Earnhardt senior models were 2002 and 2004. Unless it came from Earnhardt Chevy (they often made their own special versions) Its probably custom.

No. There is no 2001 Dale Jr edition from the factory. The only Dale Jr edition is the 2004 model. Like the one in my signature pic. The 2001 you saw was a custom made.

I have a couple of shots that I am attaching of the Dale Earnhardt Dealer ship 6th Gen Montes. The only Factory Models were the Intimidator SS from 2002 and 2004. Both were Black, the Red Dale Jr. was made in 04. The Dealer made a few as well I believe they did a Red Bud style 6th Gen. I had a photo once but can't find it. The ones I am attaching are of a 01 Black and Silver one.
