2000-07 Monte voted one of the ugliest of the decade.
Check Out in (Green) Style: Toyota Prius Hearse by Lequios for your Ride to the `Grave....
Their Prius was in a accident on the InterState & the only drivers that survived were in a Monte Carlo : )
But the owners of the Prius did save $ money on `Gas : )

It’s your last ride on the planet, most likely, so why make a CO2-spewing statement that you don’t care if the glaciers melt all over the living? Forget that plush Caddy hearse … you need a Prius! Lequios has come to the rescue of eco-funeral lovers everywhere by producing this $80,000 stretched hybrid. They’ve added 77 inches, for a total length of just over 21 feet, and hundreds of pounds of weight – and yet, the intact hybrid drivetrain will still get your mortician a very respectible 44 MPG.

WoW, great 4 SurfBoards

No word on top speed or performance, but we’re going to go out on a limb here and guess it’ll be slower than just about any other hearse on the planet. Who cares about speed though when you are going out in such green style? By the way, sorry about the cheesy photoshopped images that were provided by the manufacturer. We are aware that the photo above showing the interior is of Lequios’ Mercedes S-Class hearse’s interior … it seems that the manufacturer just wants to illustrate what the hearse’s interior will probably look like.

Who cares... I get a lot of looks/compliments.
Here's the rest of the list if anyone is interested:

I agree with 8 of the other 10. I personally don't think the 2001 Escort ZX2 is that ugly either. There are definitely uglier cars not on this list.

I agree `Amy, it reflects their automotive intelligence + they can't count that `high......in model years : ) LOL
Yeah.....that's just a absolutely ugly car. I won't even use my regular font that I use to post this message to voice my opinion....... I mean look at this thing.....\/

It's just hideous. I would never own one......

....NOT !..........
I get sooo many compliments on my car and admiration from other show car entrants that I'm really impressed with what I have. The other MC's that are on here are just as equally nice if not better...... "LuLu" .... "Precious" ...... "Blazed SS" ....... RJ's Stable
and all the rest.......

By the way, "LuLu" is a 1974. They weren't talking about the entire Monte Carlo history. But regardless, 2007 or 1974, it doesn't matter because it's an American car ("Detroit 3").Car reviewers love to hate on anything put out by GM, Ford, and Chrysler. Anything put out by Japanese or European car companies is considered automotive mastery, in the eyes of most auto critics. With a few exceptions.
IMHO, the fact that some auto critic decided to dance on the grave of the Monte Carlo says something about him/her. He/she took the easy way out. The Monte is a discontinued model last produced 3 years ago. The 2007 Monte is based on a design dating back to 2000. They're judging a 2000 design by 2010 standards. Yes the headlights and grill are different. But they still date back to 2006. A design that is also now considered out dated by 2010 standards.
Basically, the 2007 Monte is an an American design from an American auto company. Both of which, auto reviewers/critics hate passionately. I say screw `em! Let them go drool over their precious imports.

I love my Monte. And I'm keeping it.
They have a Monte in pictures with cars like the Nissan Cube, and Pontiac Aztex, and they are going to say the Monte is ugly!!!!!!!
IDK where their info came from, but I get compliments on my car all the time.

I think the Smart Car and the Nissan Cube take the cake as true UGLY cars!
I'm still amazed the Monte Carlo (6th or 7th gen, regardless) is on that list! Seriously? Well, I guess the people poled must spend too much time just seeing the back end of the car as we blow their doors off!!

I'd believe them more if mine didn't get complimented everyday.
