A friend of mine has one and ready to sell it has a bad speedo and decals are worn but thats it. Only has 7k mile on it any idea what its worth?

 

about 5 years ago i saw a mint, pristine one go for 20k on ebay. so with visible wear, im guessing 10-15k??? The big issue is those decals are not available anymore. so if they are not perfect, it takes a lot away from the value.

 

Its my experience the only way it holds any value is if he sells it privately...

I'm guessing on a trade in .... something like 2k to 6k...

At least that's my experience with dealing with dealerships...

There was a 1995 Pace Car at The Monte Nats that a guy bought from Ebay... and won the Class with it...


But it was immaculate inside and out with around 7k on it also for mileage...

But to be quite honest Greg... I really have no idea...

 

and i agree with stump, private is the way to go. dealers will take you blind.

as little as possible.lol i do know they only made something like 400 of these. give or take. so it is exceptionaly rare. the part that sux is that once the decals go bad, your only option is having a wrap made or painting it back on. either way, thousands are involved. i would consider that in my offer.

 

So would 4k be out of line?

Pictures would help + how it has been stored & maintained would be a big factor on estimating a purchase price.

Can you post more details or pictures ? (That sure would help).
Is he the original owner ? What options ?

He is the original owner. I think it spent most of its time outside just sitting. I will try and get some pictures and options
