Default 1977 Chevrolet Monte Carlo - Pictures

Good evening all,

My 1977 Chevy Monte Carlo. 67,000 original miles, 305/350 numbers matching with 15k on a rebuild. Fairly stock minus a Flowmaster exhaust, headers, minor engine dress up and the American racing Outlaw II wheels. I'm the third owner with all the original documentation. PA car. Everything works, even the AC which I converted from R12 to R134A with a rebuilt compressor.

Future plans: The 305 blows and will be swapped for a 350, possibly a 383 stroker. However, the original motor will be carefully cleaned and stored for authenticity.

The 73-77 GM A-bodies are starting to become popular since all the pre-72 cars have been played. I yawn everytime I see a 1st gen Camaro. Give it another 5 years, and the values will be higher then what they are today

Looks Good!...
But...Whatever you do...keep (store) that 305!
Those cars hold there value much better with a numbers matching motor trans etc! Just a little FYI!

Looks good. I had a 74 in 77 with a 350. It kept me out of trouble for the 3 years I had it. I wanted a Camaro but my brother would only co-sign for the Monte at the time...
