Excellent choice by going to E85 Pacer.

04Turbo, I checked out your thread in the suspension section. Keep us posted on how you do. If you get any kind of traction, I might do something similar. I just can't seem to get any traction with these stock size wheels/tires. The Monte literally will squeal the tires at 45mph.

what exactly does e85 do besides being able to use ethanol? high compression rate or something for more power?

From what I understand it has a slower burn front and lower ignition point which allows for more timing and higher compression. With the L36 bottom end the compression is raised over stock L67 compression. This will allow for more power. It also burns cooler which will result in less KR and pre-detonation.

^exactly. To be less technical and leave some stuff out in the process: It's higher octane than traditional unleaded gasoline and let's you run a ton more timing, boost, and compression compared to 93 octane gasoline.

And don't forget also that being that it's E85, it's good for cleaning out the engine. Some people have taken their heads off of their engines after running E85 and they look brand new. No carbon build up or anything. It burns clean and is basically somewhere around 100 octane fuel, while being traditionally cheaper then regular unleaded at the same time. It's good stuff.
