I'm currently driving my shop's car, till my flex-plate get's replaced this week. It used to be our salesman's '99 GP. It has just over 250K miles on the 3.8 N/A. Rest of the car is great shape. It's had 1 tranny rebuild. The 3.8's are THE best engines GM has EVER built. Show me a small block with 250K miles! NOT!

I'm only hoping the naturally balanced 3.9L engine does as well! haha.

Oh, and my radio does the speed sensitive volume thing too. I've got it on low, which is just enough to not be noticable. I'm saying it fades out because the exhaust speaks up as I roll on the throttle, and that sound is so much more enjoyable to me.

ORIGINAL: BLACK ATTACK

2003 3.8 Series II V6 L36 200-hp 225-ft-lbs torque... Your car should last about 186,000-235,000 depending on how well you take care of it and how you treat it.

I have a 2006 SS with 5.3 LS4 only 4334 miles... mine... Mine will last about 35,980-miles before I scatter the motor and burn the trans... probably... But it might be less... but I have a strong feeling regarding this issue...
LOL thats something to be proud of

If taken care of the engine/trans should last a long time.

Miles put on your car. Are we talking total miles or miles you, yourself have out on the car?

Cause my '86 LS has over 200k on it. About 208,xxx. I got it with 160,xxx miles on it.

And the '06 already had 10,xxx miles. I've put about 2,800 on it myself. It's at 13,268 right now.
