My buddy had a car with a scoop molded onto the hood and it kept cracking in one spot so he put a vinyl stripe on it. Just dont slam the hood down hard. I cant wait to see it painted.

I wish there was an aftermarket cowl hood for my SS, I luv this style of hood.

I saw ur hood on the FB page,it's gonna look awesome

there is an aftermarket cowl hood for your car...... once you make one

im hoping to have it on turbo monte monday!!

Looks good! I have future plans for a cowl induction hood, but I'm going with a lower profile (2.5") steel scoop so I can have it welded to the hood and not have to worry about cracking.

The one I've been eyeballin' is made by Goodmark, but there may be other companies that also make them.

the fuser adhesive we used is suppose to never crack. the body guy told me he used it on another customers car to mold a scoop on and it never cracked. that guy even hit a deer and it broke the front of the scoop and curled the hood but the back side still didnt crack where it was molded. so i feel pretty confident knowing that lol. time will tell is all
