No problems with the tranny yet. The tires break loose before anything in there breaks!

So you have a turbo LS4? Didn't realize that, very cool!

Still, that 4T65E-HD WILL die on you soon. Mine is going to die too. They just aren't able to withstand all that torque.

And don't be deceived into safety by those spinning tires- all that means is that the weak differential is taking a pounding. Plenty of them have failed when the differential starts chipping during burnouts, contaminating the fluid with pieces of metal and leading to overall failure.

Good thing about our FWD- we can drive year round.
Bad things- our transmissions break when we start making decent power.

Saw an Intimidator SS listed in a car magazine. It's located in Columbus, OH.

The car lot wants $35,000 for the car with like 9,500 miles on it.

..Hi R.J., great to see you online.
I think low miled show quality Monte Carlo's can demand high prices, and it's great `if you are a collector & just want to sit & look @ it, or take it 2 shows...But, as soon as you put them on the road & drive them, the values will drop to just the Street Monte prices...To me, that's just the way it is...

I could not just let a Monte Carlo sit and worry about how many miles I may want to put on it...I would have to get out on the road & enjoy the experience of driving Monte....I would keep a new picture of a New One : ) That's all that fall'in outa my mind right now : ) Peace/Happy/Out
