Thanks for the compliments guys.

As for what kind of job I have, it's more I got good deals on all my '57s.
1st was $150.
2nd was $40 and I drove it home.
3rd was $100. Drove her home too.
4th was $25. No engine or trans though.
5th was $150.
6th was $1,000. Drove it home on bad suspension.
7th was $125. Drove it from next door to my house.
8th was (sorry I promised not to tell)
9th was $300.

When I was younger I had people try to GIVE me a '55/6/7 Chevy. My parents wouldn't let me bring it home. One guy said he'd have the car towed to my house and he'd pay the bill.

I've had chances at really good deals on some great cars over the years. A local Salvage Yard used to have a '57 convertible and a '57 Nomad. They wanted $1,800 for both cars and the Nomad ran. They kept telling me to buy the cars from them. I didn't have the$1,800.

Or a '56 convertible for $100 that hadn't been on the road since 1968. It did need a roof and front seat cover. A family goat (the four legged kind) ate them.

I found a '55 BelAir Hardtop one time for $10. (Ten dollars)
No title so I stayed clear. You should see this car now. It is beautiful.
