Just wanted to thank all those who chimed in on this thread. Most of the replies mentioned replacing the MAF sensor which I did, replaced with a new GM MAF, and so far it runs great. I should probably replace the IAC sensor as well, they're around $70 for an AC Delco replacement. Thanks again.

When replacing the MAF you might want to replace the O2 sensors as well so the computer will get the most accurate info to control the engine. Especially if you had a bad MAF. The computer uses the MAF and O2 sensors together.
