Hi, I'm looking for some help for my monte. The problem I'm having is that my headlights, low beam, just stopped working. high beams still work fine. Also my fog lamps do not work at all and the high beam indicator lite on the dash is always on. checked all fuses and relays and bulb and all are fine. what was happening before was the low beams always stayed on even during the day, also the dash indicator says high beams burnt out, wrong, they work. I'm at a total loss at the moment, can only use the car only during the day. Please any ideas would be of great help. thank you

Hi there and welcome to the forum!!
Hmmmm might possibly be the light sensor up in the middle of your dash that is causing some trouble??

I've had a similar problem with my car and it was the ground wire on one of the fog lamps, might be worth looking around down there to see what you can find. Other possible causes may be the multi function switch itself causing the issue, and could be that both low beam bulbs have gone out at the same time, I also recently had my day time running lights both go at the same time, I thought the worst expecting something serious but took the cheap approach and changed them before I ripped anything apart and the problem was solved.

I suppose it could be the bcm but I'm not 100% certain on that and don't want to steer you in the wrong direction.
