Wow and to think I put 310 miles on mine a week ! Lol great looking MC's

 

I'm surprised it sold for that much. I've seen a couple of 6th gens go across the block including a REAL 04 pace car that sold at Barrett Jackson last year.

 

I wouldn't have any problem buying a car as a weekend/sunday only vehicle if I had the money but there's no way I could ever spend that much on something to just let it sit.

 

WOW 10 years of siting in your shop and not being able to drive it !! I wonder what they paid to store it for those 10 years ?? They ended up with a loss of $20,000 on that Monte with buying the car NEW ,storage for 10 years, and the auction fee and never getting to enjoy it !!

my 02 earnhardt has 7100 miles on it, it had around 6000 on it when we bought it in 07, we drive it to car shows and on nice sunny days. its also signed by dale jr kerry and jeffrey earnhardt along with car owner richard childress, i like to think of mine as more of a collectible to keep the mileage low and show it to people that enjoy looking at it. the cars book at 23,000 right now on NADA and that hasnt been updated in 4-5 years.
