I was watching the Mecum car auction from Indy this weekend. While it's mostly older classics there was a 02 DE Intimidator Monte that went across the block. The car only had 6 miles on it and still had the plastic on the seats as shipped! It looked mint and the car sold for $34,000. It was pretty cool and interesting to see one of these go across the auction block. As a comparison Dealer sticker on ours was $29,575 back in 02.

 

Hi Member INTMDR, thanks 4 your post. I think $34 K was a super price, & worth every penny for a six miled 02 DE Intimidator SS 4-Sure. If I was affluent & had $'s 2 invest. I would have purchased it. I wouldn't let it sit either.....I would enjoy every mile driving it : ) I know it's great to have old show cars, but I'll just take great pictures & get `out & drive my investment auto's : )

 

Hi KidSpace. Yep it was kinda cool to see the 02 among all those old classics. I think the price was also good for what it was. We enjoy ours as it should be driven. I'm not one to sit and wax the fenders. I'd rather be driving it. But cool to see someone kept it in a box all these years.
