I had a guy pull up to valet tonight in a black '01 pace car! Sweet or so I thought! as I have an '03. I complimented him on it and he was proud of it,but when I went to park it,it had no grey/black interior,no ss on headrest,no limited edition on gauge cluster,regular monte carlo badge on glovebox,don't think it was even an SS to start with! somebody went to the trouble of putting on pace decals,Taz,team monte carlo and diamond cut wheels on this! my question: why spend this kinda money? needless to say this guy was clueless and I didn't want to be "that" guy who told him so I didn't! just thought Id share!!

 

Well sure he isn't the only guy that food this before. Maybe he just like the way the outside looks on pace cards and wanted that look

 

Or the previous owner or dealer did it. He probably did just like it and had it, not actively trying to be a fake.

 

I know! like Isaid I didn't want to diss this guy cause he didn't care either way!!
