[quote=BlackRainSS;446898]Mine is just a summer toy I've had her now about 18 months. And put on just about 5000 miles on her. She sits 5 months out of the yr. And if it looks like Thunderstorms she's in hiding in the garage. Never goes to amy parking lot and left there. Like Wal mart of Target. Nope NO way. For those trips its the Cobalts job. So I'm averaging 67.5 miles a week. I think that GREAT

Currently my 76 Monte Carlo is my daily driver (has been for almost 12 years). Once I get my 86 Grand Prix up and running again (hopefully this upcoming Sunday), the Grand Prix will become the daily driver and the Monte Carlo will be registered as "Special Interest" (to get around smogging it ever again) and regulated to bracket racing only duties with maybe an occasional car show here and there (not really show worthy anymore). Once I have finally completed a restoration on it (who knows when that'll be) she'll be regulated to summer cruiser/show car/bracket racer.

Mine is a stylish safe and comfortable daily driver. I love the size, shape and smooth ride.

5 and 1, gets me from A to B as quickly as possible while looking good for a car with 188,000 miles on it, will be seeing track time soon hoping for low 13's high 12's depending on whether i get around to the injectors/e85 and gen5 swap or not

Hi Member's

For your posts on Your Chevy Monte Carlo....
It would be difficult for me to just have a Monte Carlo for just Show only, and not be able to get out on the Roads & really drive it... I'm glad that we have a few member's that can preserve there Monte Carlo's in Top Condition & share them with others at the Shows that they enter...

I don't think I could do that...I believe Monte's were built to be `Driven & EnJoyed

Really enjoy seeing the results of the poll & reading your words...Thank You for contributing to your MCF

Turbo monte is for sure show, performance, and street use. Far from a daily driver though. She never sees rain, snow, etc. She also only gets about 2k miles a year tops!

My Monte has become my all year daily driver again. When I had the Camaro, the Monte didn't run much in the summer, but the Camaro's gone.
So I'm a full time Monte guy again.

Great poll, but I think one category gets left out here: "Hobby".
Since "Lady Jasper" is the wife's daily grocery getter, and I have a company vehicle, I don't drive her much. I bought "Black Knight" as a project car which is finished now, but I don't him much either. I spend more time tinkering with them than driving either one...Lol

Hi `Bob, I think Mod Space left Hobby out of or off the poll so member's like you could make a post & increase the activity on the MCF
You have a great hobby...I couldn't vote in the poll either, because I've never had a Monte, but only get to drive a Monte when a owner lets me.. Space would let me drive the 2 that he had...I liked his, but I prefer vehicles with Stick...That's why I love the 4th Gen RWD manuals.
