Only issue is your tubing... superchargers get extremely warm anyways, therefor the air gets warm so having 'cold' air coming in isn't a big deal. You will however get a larger amount of whine from the supercharger if you get a true CAI. I can't imagine you seeing and difference in power though.

@Red Nightmare - I'm with Chibi. If you're going to spend money on it, spend it on the better product. If you were being given the K&N kit, I'd say take it and doctor it up. But truthfully, you can do better then the K&N kit.
Sign up on ClubGP.com, you can catch people sometimes demodding and selling a Wizaird for about what you said you're going to get a K&N from.
Also, another mod you could do (requires a little more work), prevent coolant from going into the throttle body. Even though you have a supercharged 3800, the options I did are still available. You can pop the T-body off and jb weld fill the pocket that coolant goes into. The better method, remove the LIM, tap and plug the ports that feed coolant up to the upper intake AND expand the opening in the coolant bypass for more flow (to compensate for lost flow from blocking the tbody ports).
Honestly, that's more something to consider if you had to change the LIM gaskets....
But keep the goal in mind, reduce hot air, try to get cold air into the engine. A fender well intake may even be better....

When I take my K&N off for my supercharger, if I am not using the tube for my CSC build, I'm probably going to let go of the whole kit for about $75. Because that's truthfully all I feel it should be priced at for what you get.

Very nicely done Jerry...![Congrats](https://montecarloforum.com/forum/images/smilies/congrats.gif)
My Sierra came with an Airaid CAI....
But it sure adds to the pony department...
Thinking about useing that same system on my Silverado...
