First Owner , ordered it "My wayyyy".
Ordered it in 1997...Picked it up sept 98! at Rinke Cevrolet in CenterLine Michigan!
Its a true 1999 also. Built in Oshwa canada! it was the 1st 1999 MonteCarlo in Michigan.

Not sure on how many owners, still kicking myself for not getting a carfax from the dealer when i bought it,
I am going to guess i am the 3rd or 4th owner,
It looks like they took prity good care of it, only thing was the sterring wheel is a little bit degrated from bieng neglected, front hight sports was cracked and repaired at some point and the oil pan has a dingger in it from what looks like a run in with a rock or somthing

My montes'
Have had 3 Monte's - all ordered new with what I wanted on it.
2000 SS - gave it to my dauhter in 2002 - she sold it in 2009
2002 SS - gave it to my son in 2005 after storing it for 2 years - he still has it.
2007 SS - drove it 2 years, became a project now ongoing for 4 years - still have it & hoping to drive it again soon.

I'm a second owner, but the car was like new when I bought it. It only had something like 34,000 kms on it and it still cost me $21,000!
I only have 2 payments left! And I have not had to pay for a single repair on the car ever! I have done mods and maintenance like brakes, flushes, etc. The rear view mirror fell off once, but even that didn't cost me.
I find it fascinating how much "2nd owner" is dominating this poll. Must be a great car to buy second hand...

i am the second owner. First owner was an old couple, everyone knows most older couples take good care of viehcles. I have abused, pampered, modified and customized it since owning. Wish i could go back and not do the abuse part...lol
2ND owner here. The guy traded my Monte in for a camaro. Took real good care of Black Licorice before i got it. Looked to good not to snag.
