You actually have a car where you can jump the solenoid to the starter armature with a screwdriver.
If nothing happens or it just clicks, follow the hot cable back to the battery and check the connections.
If the battery is good and the connectons are good, you might have a bad starter or solenoid.
If the car turns but doesn't start with the key in the on position, you have issues with your ignition and/or ignition switch.
If the car turns over with the screwdriver method, you have a bad connectionto the starter.
