Default Short Ram Intake Video Install.

I got a ChromeIntakes short ram intake for 26$ on ebay brand new. Although its not top of the line. it came with washable filter and made for a better sounding monte. I made a video of the install and working to make a box. check it out tell me what u think.

Haven't had a chance to watch the video since I'm at work, but I assume it's a good how-to video so I approved it for now. If anyone disagrees we can yank this.

Just remember that a HAI (short ram) is not good for performance.

He knows what he is talking about. Chibi has said K&N intakes suck for awhile...they do mine sucks 130 degree air in on 90 degree days

I don't see how that can be an effective CAI. It's recessed too far into the engine bay to suck in anything but the air in the engine bay, even with a heat shield.

Pass, filter is too short. Reminds me of a Honda. My two cents

It honestly doesnt make a huge difference on performance whether you have a box around it or not. There are a lot of high HP cars running a filter like that. The air is just going to get heated up in the upper intake anyway.
