Yes, that part fits, following the instructions in this post. The '00-'05 body is all the same and most of it a match for the '06-'07 (few changes, but not many).

I did this same fix to my '04 Monte. Took about 10 minutes. Super easy to do and cheap.

When I bought my Monte, found a odd piece of weather stripping in the back floor, glad I saved it.
wet passenger floor and learned where the stray stripping belonged, hooked it back on and all good since then

That strip has a habit of falling off, hence why this part from GM is a little more favorable, as it can't fall off. And amazingly, this part from GM is dirt cheap (like $4 or something silly like that when I bought mine).

Yea well its a cheap piece of plastic, it shouldnt cost more. I ordered the part and a new cabin filter, will install when i receive. Getting tired of having to remove water every time it rains.

Anyway i looked up the OEM part for GM 15794785 and it lists for 2006-7 montes only. My question, do you know if this part will fit on 2004 Monte windshield?
It will fit with the slight cutting as shown in the pictures

According to GM parts cataloging, the modified water deflector panel was a standard part on 2006-7 models. Took GM that long to resolve an originally poor design. I replaced the rubber seal, with the water deflector about a month ago, no water on the passenger side floor after that during rain.
