I never noticed, until now, that engine cover is different on the '05. The bottom of the "pocket" where the oil filler is - its rounded on nascar43's car. The cover on both my '04 Monte Carlo and my '98 Regal GS are the same and square-ish. Anyone else notice this before? The oil filler neck looks longer too. Who else has a car with this variant?

Thats a VERY interesting find... i too have a Dale Jr. car... and my cover looks like NASCAR's... ??



I wonder why that is?

Got it all installed, and I'm VERY satisfied. It sounds fantastic, especially on the highway... It sounds like you're going a whole hell of a lot faster than you realistically are! Not a difficult installation at all, this site helped a whole bunch, I knew exactly what to expect and what to do. Thanks a ton! HIGHLY recommended!
