thansk for the info, i was thinking of the eaton supercharger/wizaired combo before the summer is out along with a perfomance camshaft change,but as mentioned before all my inquiries so far leads to the same answers, most are for v8`s(camshafts),and the others for 3.8 or 3.9 v6 engines,,some companies warned me not to try with my 3.5,,zzperfomance being one as they say they didnt want me to have issues over the long term,,,but if one of you`s where in my shoes,,would you?
their are no more SS models around here, the ones i see the owners are not selling them..so im stuck with my 3.5 v6,,im not saying i dont like it,,hell i spend all saturday sundays detailling,compoundin and the occassional wax,,,but aside from the cutout i feel the need,,,,the need for more speed,,like the song says-``gotta have it!!!!!!``

Hey I like that set-up in the Monte. My father-in-law has an 01 LS Monte with a 3.4. I would like to get him one of these set-ups for Christmas. Can you post info of who you ordered thru?

sorry for the late replie dudeorino your welcome and you will like it. also the sound and the little more pick up it will have. the coldairinductions tube that they send with it is smoth i mean it is flexible but it isnt like what is on there now that restricts flow sam as the front of the air box the front of the air box has a small little hole and the one from coldairinductions is huge. you will notice it will run great.

 

Monte07,,thanks for the links,as of now i had a custom tune done at a reliable perfomance shop,,500$,,sadly my chip and the cars serial numbers do not match,,so i have to go back later this week so the mechanic can go online with HP tuners directly so they can unlock it,,also i got several new gauges and one bigger then i thought tachometer/shiftlight from autometer being installed this morning,1000$ for the whole set,,so im kinda broke now,,also having all my spark plugs and solenoid vent going out last month wasnt fun either..my supercharger wish is now given up and funny everyone is calling back saying they can get one for me..i think im cursed.

i forgot to mention,,comp cams replied to me saying they MIGHT be able to make a one off custome cam from the thumper series,,3000$ plus i have to send in my cam i have now and they`ll make a mold off it for the Thumper,,im really wanting this more then the supercharger,,would any of you be willing to do the same?

thats wiered the speed shop i went to only charged 250 for better shift points and bumping the speedlimiter to 110. it is kind of wiered though that you have a chip goof i am sorry to hear that. what type of chip did you get and where did you get it from may be they can help you out with the problem. on top of comp cams thats a bonus. i am looking for a supercharger for mine but it is on a back berner right now so i hope you will get every thing squered
