I would think this may work:

-Use an 04-05 SS Supercharged engine bay harness (or similar year regular 3800 with an L67 swap wiring harness kit)
-Use an 04-05 SS Supercharged passenger axle (your drivers axle should be fine if your tranny is currently a 4t65e)
-Swap to a cable drive throttle pedal (may need to do some custom drilling/routing of the cable)
-Possible wiring to the OBD2 port? (not sure how the new CAN systems work)

The bad thing is, if you live in an area with emission testing, I don't know how happy they would be with going backwards in the years- especially if your PCM is going to say 04 or 05.

I have a 96 Z34 with the 3.4. Can this swap be done that easily with that year and motor?

Yes, it is the same swap, except I've heard you can use the 3.4 DOHC A/C compressor lines instead of needing those of a 98-99 Z34.

Yeah, I skipped a/c in the writeup altogether because I never hooked mine back up. Since my monte isn't my DD, I decided to forgo a/c- and now I've got an adaptor to relocate the alternator to its spot.

What do you mean? A 98 monte LS is the same as above. A 98 monte Z34 is also pretty much the same, except your drivers side axle drops in (still have to custom make the passenger side)- and you don't have to hunt for a wiring harness, since you already have it.

Updated, added more C100 info, and made the custom axle section a little more clear.
