Default How to change light bulbs in mirror

Changing the light bulb in the mirror is a slight pain but I figured out an easy way to do it.
1. Take of the clear plastic cover using a small flat head screw driver.
2. Use a rubber grip (found on clicky pens and mechanical pencils) to wrap around the light bulb.
3. Grab the rubber as close to the bulb as possible and wiggle it out.
4. It may take a few trys but it works pretty well.

I discovered this because I wanted to put LED's in place of the stock bulbs. It's much brighter and looks pretty cool too!

Pictures attached.

I use this same method, but with a piece of rubber hose instead of a grip off a pen. Works great!

Yes. The LED bulb goes in very easily. I was able to just slide it in with my hands. Just be sure that its the correct size. I believe its a 194. You might want to double check before you buy bulbs
