When you say its not bright, the WHOLE cluster or just SECTIONS?
The whole cluster... At max, they use to definately be brighter even when 3 or 4 were burnt out...

Maybe consider BB Engineering if you don't want to mess with doing this yourself. They've done some nice work.

why cant you dim them after changing to LED? im pretty sure that LEDs can be dimmed by altering voltage, ie the rheostat..

well...i do not have patience or a soldering iron...so what is with the bbegineering? is it a kit? if it is under $50 i could probably do this...over $75 probably not

BBEngineering Impala / Monte Carlo Products

Just click the link and look through this page. The interior lights aren't specifically listed but they would be along the same lines as the gauge cluster and HVAC controls.
