Default Air Conditioner Ticking Fix 2006-2007

GM Part #15844096.

This should work for all 06+ Monte Carlos with the Dual Zone A/C, but this was done on an '07 Impala SS. This should help all you guys with that have this problem and aren't under any kind of warranty or the warranty won't cover it like mine did.

ENJOY! (not my video)

My 06 LTZ has it. It ticks for about one minute then stops, but only when the air recirculate is on, not the one that pulls outside air. It will tick the same amount of time again when the car is shut off. I just stopped using the recycle and forgot about it till now. My dealer is gonna hafta take care of that.

Mine used to do it with no work around - changing the controls really didn't do anything. Did it upon start up and shut down. I was quoted around $350 (they checked it out when I had the car in for something else.) I was told that he was the heater core return actuator or something like that. Mine was coming from around the glovebox though. Somehow it stopped awhile back and no longer makes any noise so I'm pretty sure something broke.
