I guess I should have posted some pics, when I changed the rear struts on mine!

With my custom sub box,(that fits between the wheel wells perfectly) and the speakers I have mounted in the rear window deck...
Getting to those 3 nuts on the top of the struts were a real nut buster!
I also had to remove the rear back seat as well as the rear deck cover!
Im no electronics expert, So, I had to work around the box, speakers, wireing etc...It turned into an 8 1/2 hr job! Includeing haveing to do the front Cartridges!...

So, unlike Budsjlm post...(which is a great post)...Mine turned out to be a bit of a nightmare!
But at the very least I did have his pics and info to go by...Fortunately for me. I used an impact, and instead of useing the BFH to remove the lower splined bolts, nuts (But he used 1 heck of a breakerbar)... I used a punch,(in the center of the bolts) and a BFH to be sure to avoid damageing the threads. Then i removed those splined bolts. and it sure made it a lot easier to use an impact on the spring compressors, and the top plate nuts! I also was able to use a 90 degree air ratchet to also remove and reinstahl those top nuts on the strut...I just had to be a bit of a contorsionist...to minipulate the air ratchet and my hands to get it to fit on to the nuts!...lol

Thanks again for this great post! It was a huge help!
