Default Why is it bogging?

Well lately ive just felt like my car has no low end at all. Ill floor it and it will go to 2500-3000 rpm and slowely climb to 45 where it shifts. Its like it had no power left. All ive done is an intake, could it be dirty and it needs to be cleaned?? What could do it, it just feels so slow.

Sounds like a plugged converter to me. Pull out your front 02 sensor and then take it for a ride. If you notice a difference then most likely your cats plugged.

I agree, it could be a clogged cat, but it could also just need a tune-up. Or it's running on a bad tank of gas.

check your fluids, and when was the last tune-up?

Ok so i unhooked the sensor and ran it, it still has nothing in the 0-30 rang. I cant even get the tires to chirp with tc off. Should I take it to a shop see what they think, Id like a new zzp downpipe anyway, I could give that a try.

The first piece of info I got from this forum was on my cat converter. Depending on your year and milage, GM has extended the warranty on the cat. I had mine replaced last year no charge. I have an '03 and I think the milage was around 60,000 at the time. Call GM customer service, they'll ask for your VIN and go from there.

Im at 125k miles on a 00. If they still have a warranty on that, well GM might just get out of the hole.

i think it has to be a '00 to a '04 model not sure on the mileage. and gm's financial situation changed a lot since they fixed mine last summer so who know's, but it is worth checking on if thats your issue. it saved me close to $1,300.
