Question What is this wire for?

I have attached pictures.

At first I thought that it was accidentally disconnected but I believe that it is for the fog lights. Can someone tell me what it is?

Thanks in advance to all that help.

Looks like a fog light wire. Is there one on both sides?

I found the same wire on my wife's '05 Impala. I dismissed it figuring it's for an option we don't have. I suppose if I looked under my Monte I could trace the wiring to see if that is in fact a fog light wire (but it's too cold and ground covered with snow to do that right now).

If it IS a fog light wire (was my first thought when I saw it on the Impala) it must connect with another harness that splits to the two fogs.

I was also going to suggest where the outside air temp sensor would be - I'd have to check but both of my Montes have fogs and air temp.
