Default what should i expect from a 87 tpi 305

i found a pretty nice 87 monte aero with semi low miles on original numbers matching 305 h.o. motor with a tpi conversion on it. i dont know anything about tpi's at all. i currently have an 87 ss all orignal with the qjet carb so i know how stock runs.
im looking to maybe trade up for this car its a really pricey aero coupe so not knowing about the tpi worries me alot...
so about performance wise what should i expect over my stock ss id imagine more torque maybe better mpg?
Most importantly is there any red flag tips i should be looking for the way it drives things on the motor and or the tpi system itself or anything else wires and fuel pump maybe? i dont know any help/tips would be great thanks!

I worked on a few in the late 1980's-early 1990, expect better MPG, less starting problems when cold, slightly more torque, but about the same HP.
