What should I do about SVS light reflect code: p0243 and p0455??

What should I do about SVS light reflect code: p0243 and p0455??

I just had my SS supercharged 04 monte looked at by GM, due to "service vehicle soon" light being on not "service engine" light. the 2 codes that come up are p0243 they said i need a new 200$ boost solenoid? what is this, everything runs great on vehicle im just getting bad gas mileage are these connected? the other code is p0455 i understand has to do with a bad gas cap. i replaced my stock gas cap with a brand new one today. the p0455 is most likely off now due to new gas cap. how bad and urgent is the p0243 and does it affect mpg?? thanks for all help on this matter.. - proud SS Monte Carlo owner.
