i have an 07 monte ss and ive been looking everywhere for headers, like online, gear head friends ,and around town and ive landed on nothing. does anybody have any ideas or am i gonna have to drop the cash for a custom set

 

If you are willing to remve the engine, you can get a pretty sick cam fromJEGS orSUMMIT for around $300-$500, which will makemore power and more pep, put you have to make sure you will have the cam for 9.5-1 compression, or whatever your engine's comp. is.Also, a bigger crankshaft can cause more power, because a bigger crank increases cubic inches, and shorter piston travel, but its all up to you...have fun with it man.

 

well most people were here that did posts were heated badly breath a little and please dont rip off peoples heads. what i mean heated is angree at each outher for some reason remember we all are on this forum is to help each outher and give our opinions about products they used and recomend what workes for them. besides made some modes to my monty fog lights and looking at these headers from this one web site header domain for my 3.5l engine.

 

04s do come with the l36 option, I have one.

 

On the air intake note I found a kit from K&N fro about $300. Lookin at my air box though I think I can delete the air box and get a high flow cone fliter for much cheaper. Any thoughts?

 

Those K&N intakes are WAY too expensive. You can make your own FWI for $50-60 if you do it right. But if you want to spend a little bit of money on a good CAI, then I would go with this one for $100 less then the K&N: http://www.zzperformance.com/grand_p...=247&catid=113

 

my k&n was 214 off ebay but it was also a present but i love the thing and it was new off ebay and add noise and some power

 

I been thinkin about camming my Monte instead of using rockers. What's ur guys opinion?

 

The right cam will always make more hp then rockers. It's just that the trade off is that the job is difficult to install a cam, whereas the rockers can be done quickly and is very easy.

 

What's the difference in power gains wit the 1.9s and an s1x cam? Cuz that's what im leaning towards.
