Very small transmission metal shavings?

Default Very small transmission metal shavings?

Pulled both the cv axle`s and transmission fluid had very small transmission metal shavings in fluid just a few not much. Is this bad or just normal wear? Thought id se what u guys think

If they are actual shavings then yes, I would say that is bad, something is not working properly.

I know when you do a pan drop, it's normal to see a metallic color mixed in the fluid (this would be a metallic residue or powder from normal wear and tear). But actual shavings (they you might be able to pick up with your fingers, that's bad).

I met to say looks like very small metallic in fluid. Not actually shavings.
Cool thats what i thought.
