Default Valvoline Dexron VI / Help

Couple of questions,

Will be doing a pan drop on my 04 monte w/ 168,000 miles and was wondering what all I need to do the job?

I will be buying the parts and then going to a place that I've always took my vehicles to get the job done just want to have everything there already.

Also where in the heck do you buy the Valvoline Dexron VI ATF?

I've looked at Advance, Autozone, O'Reilly - None has it.

Help would be greatly appreciated,

Mobil 1 does not come as a Dexron VI, Regular Mobil makes a synthetic BLEND version of Dexron VI.

I've used Valvoline Dexron VI Full Synthetic tranny fluid in my Monte since it had 20,000 miles on it, now its at 120,000 miles.

I've always gotten my Valvoline Dexron VI from Kragens (O'Reilly), or Carquest Auto.

I just did a complete flush Monday and went with the ACDelco Dexron VI. Is it that hard to get? It lists at about $8 quart here (Cdn), but cost me $4. How much is the Valvoline stuff?

I pay $6.50 a quart for Valvoline, which is a Full Synthetic version of the Dexron VI.

i have noticed the difference when all the oils are synthetic as in lower rpm to better fuel economy. if you hear some one say it is not worth it let them know it is. because of the bennifets of it paying for it self

I got my Valvoline Dextron VI at autozone and just did the pan drop, filter change and refill. No flushes as I've heard to many bad things about them.
