Hey guys im looking into giving my monte a little juice. Im looking for a turbo. What i wants is nothing special, just some juice to give it the life. Im looking in for a turbo kit that i dont have to modify alot of things with theengine or tranny. I just want enough horsepower before everything starts blowing. Any suggestions and whatall would i have to do before i actually can put the turbo on?

someone correct me if im wrong.......
your tranny is not gonna like having to handle more than about 300hp. if im not mistaken.....9-10 psi will put you over or right at that mark. if you want serious power, you are going to have to look into upgrading your tranny.

yah i think you need to upgrade the tranny if you do the turbo kit, however i think there's a guy in my town with a turbo'd gp and he didn't do anything with the tranny i dont think

it would be around the $5000 range to do it complete probably
i know the guy in my town is pushing out 450hp though...so well worth it
especially when you can beat a charger srt 8

i would look at ZZPerformance.com for ideas on tranys. you deff need an HD trany. turbos are actually easyer on the trany then a SC of equal power. but without a doubt if your going to be using the power, then replace the trany.
