Default Upgrade Help...

Hey guys... I have a few questions, what does everyone think/heard about of these products?

Im looking at an CAI for my 3400, so Im going to go with a weapon R. there the only ones I know that make them for a 2001 MC with the 3400 in it. I would make my own but Im not THAT great with Modding. I guess you could say Im learning a lot about it all, but dont trust my ablility to make something as required as this quite yet. I know they work well on ricers like honda's and things... so I do kinda trust the company name. anything you guys have heard?

Im also looking at a larger mass airflow sensor. I have a jetchip module installed, so I need more air to get into the engine. Im looking at the brand "Granatelli". I had called them, and they said I would see about a 10hp gain stock, but with more mods, like the chip and air intake, I could see gains as much as 25hp on my MC. anyone know of a better product I should be looking at?

Default RE: Upgrade Help...

if your going to go weaponR i would make your own, you can do better than that...when i think of weaponR i think Honda's, and Acura's where K&n doesn't make one for it

i personally would stay away from it, but if its cheap enough, and you dont trust your abilities to make one, then yes its probably a good idea,

but if your going to upgrade the mass air flow sensor to possibly one off a 3.8 you could possibly get a k&n system
