You can buy a turbo kit and put it on. Various companies make them for the 3800.

Cartuning and ZZP are the big ones.

Hey hi, no it's far from a kit. Though there are kits available. This whole engine / tranny has been totally built, balanced and blueprinted. Nothing like a bolt on kit. This is a custom engineered turbocharged 3800. We left nothing to chance this time around. Would dare say this is one of the best engineered / built 3800 Turbocharged setups going. Took almost a year to scratch our heads, build, redo and redo things, built the tranny to it's fullest potential with mods not done before. So it in all modesty screams down the road pretty well. A GT500 and I raced at the Rocky Mountain track and it was a battle. He hole shot me, then the turbo came on and I passed him, and right at the finish line he edged me by a fender. LOL it was a nice race, So no it's not even close to being a kit at all. Thanks for posting the video. I need to post more of the car, but have formatting issues. Need a different camcorder.
