Talking turbo Q!!

Hi, I'm thinking of installing a Turbo Charger in my 2000 monte carlo SS. I'm lost because I dont know what brand, size or stage that would be compatible with my mc. I looked on ebay and found some that are weirdly cheap and dont know if I should go that rout. All help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks...

link doesnt work. im assuming you did a search, for some reason, if you search our website, and post the link it doesnt work...

i would definitely look into getting a z3 kit...the ebay kits usually require LOTS of fabrication, you cant just buy a turbo and "put it on"..... definitely buy a proven kit from a vendor...

Nice option. I personally LOVE my turbo. I would pick a company that has a whole, well designed kit for your engine rather than piece together the system. Good luck.

x2 on ZZP's Z3 budget turbo kit. That with some supporting mods will have you all the power you could want in your FWD Monte.

x10 - even if I did plan to fab my own turbo kit, I certainly wouldn't use some cheap garbage Chinese knockoff from ebay. But unless you have actual fabrication tools and skills, it'll be much easier and cheaper to buy the kit.

I agree with the others, if you try to go the cheap route you will pay for it in the long run...I would steer clear of anything offa ebay....ZZP Is a tried and true company that has been around for a while now....I have a Z7 turbo kit on my Monte and I am very happy with it...

Also a lil word of advice before you start jumping into turbo's, you may wanna beef up that transmission a bit..

Best of luck and keep us updated
