Default Tried stripping my supercharger snout

I tried getting the thick factory grey paint coating off my supercharger snout with just my hands and different grit sandpapers, tried dremel too but couldnt get into the sides as seen in pic. It's not as easy as you may think. The factory paint is VERY hard to get thru and remove. This is as far as I got before my pride and my hands gave up. I decided to stop and just get a polished one and send this one in as my core. My fingers are killing me.

You just need to keep at it I know it's a pain but it looks nice when done.

You try any kind of chemicals- aircraft stripper or something?

You would have a lot more options off the car- if nothing else, at least you could sand blast it off at that point.

Carb cleaner usually works really good on paint, just becareful and not to get any on your belt or anything else. Is it possible to take it off and do it?

I already ordered a polished one. Didn't want to take this one off but now ultimately it will have to be taken off anyway to be sent in as a core when the other one gets here.
