Hello all. silly question here but can anyone tell me if I need a short tail or long tail transmission? Car is a 72 monte with original 454, and 400 turbo trans. didn't have either when I got it. ive got an engine just about ready and am starting to find a trans now but not sure which one. Ive got the original driveshaft so would be nice to get the right style trans also, just to make things a lot easier.
