Here it is in a nutshell...My 2004 monte carlo 3.8L SS Not super charged has a Tranny code of P1870 Does this mean a rebuilt transmission is needed? I have the slippage in 1st but no other issues are taking place. I don't want to pay for a newer transmission or rebuilt one if I don't need to. So can ya help me out?
