Torque Converter solenoid Removal
 

98 Monte Carlo z34 3.8L How to remove and install a torque converter solenoid. Need some info asap.

If I'm not mistaking you need to pull the driver side trans cover off to get to the solenoids as there inside the trans.

You have to either lower the engine cradle to get access to the side cover of the transmission (it will be on the driver's side of the car), or pull the entire engine and transmission out to be able to remove the side cover. If you're doing this much, might as well replace the rest of the solenoids while you're in there.
