Im going 3.8 pulley, but ill have headers, res delete, 104s, 180 tstat, tune, FWI, and ported heads lim and sc, so I should be good

Oh yeah, ported heads will do wonders. Killed 8* of KR for me.

Well theyre intake gasket matched and i smoothed down a few tiny things so its not ridiculous.

Man... You're Monte is going to be SO different when you're done. Trust me.

If you have the budget at all, I'd really recommend throwing a set of 1.9 rockers into it while you've got it torn apart- they'll really let you maximize you're setup with that 3.8 pulley. An L36 bottom end on a 3.8 pulley with full supporting mods and 20-22* of WOT timing is pretty damn quick!

I was totally gonna go xp but ran short of funding, and rockers will come eventually, I just need to buy other more important things, like a gauge pod

What was the end result of your top swap? I am starting to hear bad things about tuning on L36 PCMs on 00-02 Montes.

Like what, Pure2sin? The 00-02 PCM is about the same as my 03 PCM. I'm still running my L36 PCM, tuned quite a bit obviously, with no issues.

What bin file did you use? Cause you can't just use the 2002 L36 bin file cause it won't work.
