Ok it wont be any time soon but i was thinking bout swaping the 3.1 and trans. in my 95 monte ls for a 3800series IIIsc and trans. down the road
any tips or pointers from someone who knows what their talking about???

The series III I don't think will fit into your car, I believe it has different motor mounts than yours, but the series II will fit. SCC2450 (Chris) did it.

Way more than enough- I've seen it done under $2k if you can wait for deals- $3k-4k should be plenty for stock.

SIII will bolt in too- its the same engine. The problem you run into with it is the returnless fuel system and drive by wire (both of which can be changed). It is easier to go with a SII though.
