I am bais towards prestone all make all model, full strength, a few more bucks you get double the coolant!

^^this like you said double the coolant for nearly half the cost

The 50/50 bottles should only exist if you NEED to do it in the parking lot of that store.

Always full strength if you are doing this at home haha

makes sense, i figure when i do this job i might aswell just drain all the coolant and put some fresh stuff in.

Ok did the job today and its quite a pain. The big issue is simply accesibility to the theremostat and bolts. If you can manage to get your fingers in there to do the work then you'll be good to go. Took me and my dad a good part of the day but the coolant was drained the thermostat was changed. Fresh Prestone full strength coolant was added with water. I bled and bled and bled the car so hopefully all the air is out of the system.

Temperature guage no longer hovers at the bottom, but now sits a little below half. I'd be interested to get an OBD device on it to see what the coolant temp actually is. But otherwise it seems job well done.
