Yes, I also believe that a owner gets a lot of Bang 4 their $'s when they own & drive a Monte Carlo, especially `if they maintain them & don't abuse them.

In the future you could buy the service books and do it yourself for a weekend of your time and $150 for parts lol

In my book (Pocket Book) it was money well spent!

Left me plenty of time to relax this weekend LOL.

Jeez that is reasonable. I paid 1150 total for Valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, lim, uim. But she is tight cooling and oil system. At 131 k there is now alot of life in her. What was done on your Monte was money well spent. Keep on driving her.
