supercharging an 05 monte LT
Hey guys ive been seriously considering supercharging my 05 LT. and have a few questions, first off can someone reccomend a supercharger that they know works. also do i have to dump the compression down at all ? third how much am i looking at for the new intake? and 4th is this at all worth it? im not looking to go crazy but im hoping for another 50 or so horsepower. the only other thing i have been wondering is what if anything do i have to change with the factory computer/injectors/etc

You will need a tuner, it wouldn't hurt to upgrade injectors or at least have the finances to do so, colder plugs, CAI, and a few other things.
I would look into Centrifugal superchargers and avoid the Roots Blowers in this case. Either that or go turbo.

`Marc,
I think it would be expensive to do it right. There's a lot more
to a stock 200 HP 3.8 & a 240HP SC., (Suspension, Wheels/Tires,
Transmission, Brakes etc.)
If I wanted a SC Monte Carlo SS, I would market the one
I had, and Search for an 04-05 Monte Carlo SS SuperCharged.
There arestill some good ones out there.
Have you considered searching the web for one or searching
locally where you live ?
Unless you are really in love with your 05 LT, I would give it
a lot of thought. I think the cost is high to change over,
and you could find one that's already produced with everything.
or
Save and find a 06-07 BadAzz V8 SS : )
