That would, excuse my language, **** me off... If I had a supercharger I'd want to hear it constantly.

 

My MC is pure stock right now........ But sometimes when I do get on it
really good like going up a hill or passing another car...accelerating to get
on the freeway; I will hear that SC Whine coming from the engine.

My wife has a grand prix gtp comp g with the series 3 3.8 supercharged in it. Her's whines pretty well to the extent that her friend's sometimes ask her what is wrong with her car. "what is that noise?"

not sure if the series 2 that were in the montes was quieter, though.

I agree with what others are saying about Air Induction though.
The more air coming in the greater the performance from the SC
and you'll get your distinctive whine which does sound good.

 

Two years ago I took out the stock box and replaced it with a spectre universal intake cone, the whine was SUPER LOUD, when i raced my buddies cobalt SS and after i beat him.... he was like "dude all i could hear was ur supercharger" so yes replacing the intake will be a HUGE difference.

 

OOOOOOO yeah, the intake and a slightly smaller pulley will make that supercharger sound shweet!!! I personally like the sound of the '03-'04 Cobra the best! Kenne Bells for the win!
