Default Supercharger on an L36?

I have and Monte Carlo SS (not supercharged) and i am pretty sure it is an L36. (Can someone confirm this?) I was wondering if i can put a supercharger on this engine? Meaning will it be worth it? (power wise) Also can my engine handle it. I've been looking for L67's but can't seem to find any decent ones. Really i would rather update my current engine than buy a new one because it would be less money. Also i plan on adding new headers and exhaust. So assuming i might switch engines should i wait on these mods?

N/A 3800 would be an L36. What you're thinking of doing is called a top swap, search around as there is alot of information on it. Usually you would find a donor car to pull all the needed parts off of.
